The Perfect Package gifts packages are all inclusive of delivery to any valid Australian postal address. The earliest delivery is approximately 3 business days after the order is made. We can arrange an express delivery for packages in the Melbourne metro area upon request; however, this will incur extra delivery charges.
The earliest delivery time, will be 3 business days from the time & day of the order, if the order & payment is received prior to 4pm EST & the delivery location is in any capital city in Australia. Any order & payment received after 4pm EST on a business day, will be delivered within 4 business days at the earliest. The delivery date selected by the customer is the date we aim to make the delivery by at the latest, however, it can be made anytime up to or before the selected day.
Weekend & Public Holiday Deliveries
All gift packages are delivered between 9.00am-5.00pm, Monday – Friday, with the exception of Public Holidays. There will be no deliveries made on any Public Holiday. We are unable to deliver on Saturday & Sunday, however, there may be special circumstances where a weekend delivery has been requested in writing for large orders & quoted accordingly; this will take place only if you have been notified in writing by The Perfect Package to commit to and confirm a weekend delivery.
All orders & payments received after 4pm EST on a Friday, will be shipped out on Monday at the earliest.
Deliveries in Transit
The Perfect Package does not provide an estimated time of arrival once products are in transit. However, a Proof of Delivery can be made available, if requested 24 hours after the requested delivery date.
Third Party Couriers
The Perfect Package gift hampers may be despatched using Australia Post or a third party courier service. The Perfect package accepts no responsibility for any delay associated with Australia Post or the third party courier service.
In the event that the recipient is not available to accept delivery of the gift hamper or there is no safe drop off point, Australia Post or the third party courier service will leave a card with details of where the goods can be collected from.
If there is any damage to the goods or delay to the package not arriving at its destination, caused by Australia Post or the third party courier service, The Perfect Package will work with the customer to try to resolve any issues that may be caused by the transport company.
To avoid any disappointments, it is best to place all orders early to provide us the best opportunity to deliver the gift by your preferred date.
Addresses for Delivery
It is the customers’ responsibility to supply the correct delivery address of the recipient. Unfortunately, if the incorrect address was supplied and the delivery was made as per your instructions, we cannot accept responsibility for any error. In this event, if the gift package needs to be redelivered, additional package fees & redelivery fees will apply.
Please ensure you check all recipient details prior to making payment, especially with the delivery address details.
Gift hampers can only be delivered to street addresses that are clearly defined. For deliveries to schools, hospitals & businesses, deliveries will be left at the front desk or reception.
If any delivery address is deemed unsafe, the gift hamper will be returned to The Perfect Package and the customer will be contacted. If the gift needs to be redelivered to an alternative address, redelivery fees will apply.
Delivery of Packages with Alcohol
Any packages containing alcohol cannot be left unattended at the front door. If there is no secure place to leave these packages & no one is available to receive these packages, a calling card will be left at the recipients address.
